"When I purchased my printer, I also purchased the extended warrantee , not knowing how important that would turn out to be. As it turned out my printer developed a non repairable problem determined by the manufacturer.That it when Square Trade came in and took control . They checked the purchase , and warranty info, and refunded my purchase. Thank You."

Simple and quick

Not good enough
"Had 3 defective phones in 1 year. They would only cover 1 a year. When I wanted to upgrade to a better phone, they would not cover any of it!! "
A printer and large HDTV were replaced in the time the coverage was in place.
"When I called to check on a printer that crashed and needed replacement they stated I had an HDTV in the list of items covered. I had forgotten about that and within a few weeks that TV failed and was ultimately replaced. GOOD WORK!"
No Insurance with Square Trade
"I purchased two Fitbits and I purchased Square Trade warranties on each Fitbit.One for my grown daughter and one for me. Both Fitbits stopped working. Square Trade’s response to my request for repair or replace was that the Fitbits were damaged due to negligence. I let Square Trade know that I am a retired professional person and that the Fitbit was used correctly without any negligence. My daughter is also grown and professional and resented the response. My daughter will never buy another Fitbit. She purchased an Apple product."

Our standard warranty covers against mechanical or electrical failures as well as wear and tear. The accidental damage from handling protection covers against drops and spills. When a claim is filed for depot repair, the items are audited before repairs begin. During the item audit, our technicians discovered damage to the unit not covered under the standard warranty protection. Due to these damages not being covered under the standard warranty plan, we are not able to provide service to the device. Thank you, BH ”
